Galeries Vivienne

One of the goals for Paris was to find common themes that we’d use for capturing images that would be used to document our trip. I’d chosen staircases, and before we left, I Googled staircases in Paris, and Galeries Vivienne came up and it looked jolly nice. I took note of where it was, but never paid much mind to actually finding it there. One day though, we took a wrong turn, got lost and found the place. Interestingly, it’s home to a photographer’s studio, aptly titled Nicephore – the name of the guy who took the first ever photograph.
