Trolling through the archives

Here’s another one of the Hemel en Aarde Valley. This is actually slightly outside on the way to Caledon. If you look carefully, you’ll be able to see the wind turbines on the horizon.

This was taken in one of the fields alongside the road. After surreptitious jump over a barbed wire fence, I was able set up my tripod and make this panorama. It’s a stitch of 16 portrait-aspect images stitched in Lightroom. I think it turned out pretty well. Further tweaking in Lightroom using various presets has given fantastic results.

Incidentally, this was taken on our return to Greyton after lunch at Newton Johnson. I hope you like it!
