Porto

Roughly a year ago we were in Portugal to visit family and tie up a few personal things. We also managed to do a few trip out and about in between sorting out clerical and bureaucratic issues, of which there were many and often. One of the trips was to Porto. Porto is in the north of Portugal and spans the Rio Douro. It’s a beautiful place and pretty hilly. The image below is taken from the southern side looking towards the old town. It’s now a bustling tourist haven that is most pleasant. So much so, that we visited again!

It’s a fantastic place to visit, and once the bug bites, you’ll be back again.
